DH and I are going to do a walk today... just something nice and easy since our race is tomorrow night. I've got an in-home client and we've also got lots of cleaning/shopping to do in prep for Sunday. Truth be told, my exercise this week has suffered a bit but I'm not too worried since I want to be rested as much as possible for tomorrow.

No clue on food. Will have to update later.

Nope, not yet. I need to spend some more time online looking at what's available. And, I was hoping you all would say "OH! You MUST buy ....." and then it would be easy. :)

Well, I'm bracing myself for another weekend here. Weekends are very hard for me, because that's when I like to pig out and drink beer. But last weekend I did very well, despite the fact that I had a date night with dh, a visit to my mom's house, AND pms to top it all off. I figure if I can make it through last weekend without going overboard, I can surely make it through this weekend, when I have nothing planned.

Today marks the end of Week 2 of my new dietary changes. I've lost 3 pounds, which could be water, but I'm feeling really good. Weight loss isn't the main focus of my goal anyway -- I'm focused on losing body fat. But I wouldn't mind getting my weight down to the 120's.

Anyhoo, I ran 6 miles this morning, and will go to the gym for an upper body workout later.

breakfast -- toast, peanut butter, fruit

lunch -- ham sandwich, veggie soup

snacks -- fruit, raw veggies, cereal

dinner -- (This is my weekly treat meal, which I'll be having tonight) sirloin beef kabobs, rice, and roasted veggies.

dessert -- yogurt and berries. Will I ever get tired of yogurt and berries? I doubt it. ;-)

I'm not eating nearly enough again. Gotta order those groceries.

Breakfast - 2 hard-boiled-eggs, peaches, coffee

Snack - Orange

Lunch - corn-on-the-cob, carrots, tuna

Snack - orange

Dinner - Roast with vegetables

Planning on doing a full-body workout at the gym, but with these kinds of meals, I may not have the energy. Maybe I'll just do upper body instead.

I've been eating yogurt and berries for... over 15 years and each time, I still think, "Mmmmmm."
