You are so fortunate to notice immediate results. A lot of times it takes weeks, sometimes months, before people see the scale move. Congrats on sticking to your plan. My critical time is immediately upon getting home from work.

I went swimming--I'm sure you were all sitting on the edge of your chair waiting for me to decide.

It seems like Olympic swimmers hardly ever breathe when they're racing. So, do you actually like swimming and running or do you just enjoy challenging yourself with new activities? I didn't like running when I was doing it but I loved the feeling of accomplishment after I had done it. I think I would like swimming, if I could get over the swim suit thing. I wouldn't mind a diving suit, but the bathing suit just doesn't fly for me.

Random thought: Did you see "Open Water"?

I can't say I like either. I'd much rather ski or skate or hike or rollerblade or bike or rock climb or do step or another class.

Yes, it's one of those low-budget, independent films. It's based on a true story about a couple that went on an adventure vacation (scuba diving) and the boat accidentally left them out in the middle of the ocean. It really happened!
