DH and I did strength training this morning. We were supposed to do it yesterday but there was a fire not too far from here so the air was all smoky during our run. I was positively exhausted when we came home and didn't have the energy. We are shopping today and then spending the afternoon with family. Not sure on food as I don't know where I'll be for my meals.

just got back from a 5.75 mile run - did it in 57 minutes, which is just under a 10min mile. i decided i don't want to go to the pool until after i get back from hawaii (fear of germs) so i'll do pilates and yoga later and call it a day. i didn't do any exercise yesterday.

i have chores around the house to do today to get ready for hawaii, but all i want to do is knit. i'm addicted! we should have a challenge and i'll knit a custom-made mp3/ipod cozy for the winner/s. i'll have to think about what the challenge should be.

ok, i better go take a bath and get my chores done.

btw does anyone else use Lush products? they make fresh (like some of them have to be kept refrigerated, that's how fresh they are), handmade cosmetics and bath products. i love Lush! their bath stuff is my running reward. i'm going to go take a bath with a "big blue" bath ballistic.

Went out for a 4 mile run this morning but only made it for 3 miles. The heat was killing me and I was afraid of pushing it too far. I learned that we need to start getting out earlier for those longer runs. I've been sort of out of it the rest of the day. I'm pretty achy from our workout yesterday and my appetite has been nonstop. I feel like I've been eating all day. I think that running just took it out of me.

I had house projects planned but decided to snuggle with DH instead. I'll do the projects when he's off backpacking this week.

Are you still working on those leg-warmers?

i finished my leg warmers just in time for the hot weather when it's too hot to wear them. it's too late to prevent a comeback - they are already back. at least they were last winter, maybe if you are lucky by next winter they'll be out again (but i'll still wear them anyway).

i've seen that commercial on fast forward. joss stone sure looks good in white jeans!

anyway, after legwarmers and two scarfs (one for me, one a gift) i'm finally knitting something that is useful for summer - a cotton tank top. i tried to start knitting myself an ipod cover but i need to get smaller needles first.
