Lindsay Lohan - so thin

Has anyone seen pictures of Lindsay Lohan, she has lost alot of weight again. Even more than when she claimed she got the flu and lost weight. She now attributes her most recent weight loss to a new trainer and workout. I am sorry, but I do not think anyone can get that thin by working out. What do you all think? Hollywood fascinates me how they can drop pounds so fast.

Here is a link to her picture and the article I read,

She looks hungry. Someone needs to trick her into eating a burger.

It is sad how people get so thin. I was watching an MTV "True Life" documentary about weight loss and it was interesting. They profiled a girl who does beauty pageants and she crash diets (and successfully loses) for her pageants and then pigs out afterwards and crash diets again for the next one. So unhealthy.

If its the result of exercise why does she just look thin, not thin and healthy/fit?

I think it was Gywneth Paltrow or Kate Hudson that you're talking about. One can definitely lose are large amount of body fat somewhat safely in a relatively short period of time, but their life has to pretty much revolve around exercise & proper diet. the average person hasn't the time or money for this luxury and as mentioned their job doesn't depend on it.

People that do body building and fitness competions do the same thing. They eat an extremely restrictive diet leading up to competion then gorge themselves immediately after. Ever seen the average competive body builder in the off season or notice that mags are always mentioning everyone's off- & on-season weights. Its crazy. And try to talk to these people when they're 'dieting down' and 'carb-cutting' in the final weeks before competition. They're wan, listless and very crabby.

Yeah, I have a friend who does fitness competitions... she has to dehydrate herself prior to the competetion. I think she gets 8 oz of water during the last two days before competing. The night before the competition, she eats a candy bar to spike her insulin.

Several people die every year from dehydration just before/during competition. Isn't it ironic that people who supposedly represent the pinnacle of human fitness are doing such dangerously unhealthy things, sometimes killing themselves in the effort to attain their personal ideal of 'perfection'.

That's how Carre Otis ended up with heart disease--excessive dieting before shoots.

I just think it's sad that celebrities, young and old, are pressured so much to be thinner. If only there was a law that every producer/agent had to go on the same crash diets that they recommend their stars/clients do. Then maybe some of that BS would stop. I think I read that Kate Hudson did 2-3 hours a day of exercise and a strict diet following the birth of her baby to get back in shape. Just shows the difference between her and me-after the birth of my child, I'd take that extra time in naps instead! :)

My general theory is that if a person gets thinner in a rapid amount of time and looks unhealthy, they probably used unhealthy means. And Lindsay looked nasty on Saturday Night Live the other night-it was painful to even look at her.

The same is true with boxers and wrestlers.

I didn't see the show but I saw ads for it and she did look emaciated.
