Not sure what I'm going to do for work-out today. My upper body is sore from yesterday- but the good kind of sore!! So I think I'll pass on yoga until maybe this evening- somehow I feel even downward dog won't be that pleasant! It's a miserable day here today, and my room looks like it was hit with a nuclear warhead- I'm not babysitting today, so I think I will clean up around here. Plus my roommate is gone for the weekend, so I might take advantage of the situation and vacuum, etc. I'll probably do my short Pilates video which is just abs, butt and legs.

Jen, I wish I were you, have fun for me too :)

I did 30 min eliptical, chest, back, and shoulders. I have a busy weekend, I am helping with a huge tkd tournament. I am judging a busy ring, and my head ref is a big time guy from Syracuse. I can't wait to work with him. I am helping to get people weighed in tonight. It is going to be hard to watch and not want to get involved, but it will be a fun experience.

Food:
cheerios
strawberries, pizza
????

Hey there! It's been a while since I've been here. It's been a busy few months - sold our house, bought a house, took a water safety class, and now my kiddies are done with pre-school! No time to relax around here, but since I no longer need to search the web for a new home, I now have some extra computer time on my hands!

Well, I made it to the RAGBRAI (bike ride across Iowa) Lottery, so now I'm doing some major training. I've been doing my cycling classes and my weight routine. The weather has been up and down around here, so I only had one chance of getting out there this year. Anyway, here is my journal for today:

Breakfast: Barbara's sweet wheat cereal (can't remember the exact name of the cereal, but it's great) with soy milk & strawberries.

Lunch: Salad with 1/2 avocado, cucumber, apple and olive oil dressing. Had some chocolate cake for dessert (it was from last night's pre-school graduation party)

Snack: Cottage cheese & applesauce.

Dinner: Talapia sounds great, I think I'll thaw some for dinner, that and a sweet potato.

No work-out today . . . it's my double duty work day.

Ughghgh! I came home yesterday and my computer was fried. I waited until DH got home to fix it and he turned it on and it booted right up. Did strength training this morning and then had an in-home this afternoon.

Breakfast: peanut butter banana toast

Snack: mini wheats w/skim milk

Lunch: salad, black bean burger on ww, chocolate milk

Snack: peanut butter and jelly on a ww tortilla

Dinner: Quesadillas (we are going out to one of our favorite Mexican places)

Yup! I am one of the lucky 8500 week long riders. I believe there are an additional 1500 daily riders (those who will ride just a day or two). I'm getting excited about it!
