I ran 4 miles this morning. I went by myself since DH is still recoverng from his backpacking trip. I've never done 4 miles alone and it was kind of cool. I picked a new route and that made it more interesting. I was out the door by 5:30 though.

Our housewarming party is tonight so today will be filled with cooking and cleaning. Food will be sporadic because of the cooking/cleaning frenzy. Tomorrow, my plan is to bond with my couch and my husband. I want to rest. :)

Well I got up this morning and did my cycling class - but I did only 45 mins. My club was having a bike maintenance and repair class, so I wanted to check that out. It was great! I learned so much about maintaining my bike. Up until now, I'd just ride it all summer long and take it to the bike shop for them to clean it up. Then I'd start all over the next year. Now I know how to weekly maintain my bike and clean it, too. Plus I now know how to repair a tire! I came home, had lunch and the family went on a 12 mile bike ride . . . 4 of those miles were over gravel and dirt. I did all this pulling my 40 lbs. DS who was riding in our bike trailer - but it was a great work-out!

Breakfast: Barbara's cereal (it is just sooo good), strawberries and soy milk with cottage cheese.

Lunch: Salad with avocado, chicken & cucumbers with olive oil dressing

Snack: Strawberries, apple, crackers

Dinner: It was so nice out, I grilled burgers outside - but I made them with 5% fat ground beef.

Dessert: Ice cream sandwich and chocolate cake (I am pms'g big time - needless to say, I don't have any tried and true secret for combating those hormone cravings)!

Now it's plopping the kiddies in the tub and then to bed. DH & I are renting "Closer" tonight!

I've thought of taking a class like that.

How fun Jean! One of our family trips I have planned is going to Colonial Williamsburg! I went there when I was 13 for a class trip - I was way too young to appreciate being there (plus this was before everything, we just saw William & Mary and walked around . . it was on our way to DC). Busch Gardens is definitely one of the stops we plan on making - but I have to see if DS is up to the fast rides! I can take fast, but I can't take heights! Glad you had a great time!

I haven't been there since I was really young either. There's so much to do there--next time, we might make a week vacation of it. Busch Gardens doesn't compare ride-wise to Kings Dominion which is nearby but it's much more family friendly and the service is awesome.
