Hope all goes well with the doctor! I have to take my son to the orthodontist. They start so much earlier these days with things like that.

I miss having Jen around!

I ran 4 miles this morning. I went by myself again because DH was up late working. Had a pretty good run and beat my time Saturday by almost 20 seconds. I have an in-home this afternoon and also have some client stuff to do. I've decided to write up my surgery experiences for the magazine that I currently do fitness columns for so I will probably start that. I also am going to look into correspondence courses for my ACE certfication as it expires next May and I thought it might be nice to have something productive to do while I'm recovering.

Breakfast: banana peanut butter toast

Snack: smoothie - don't know what kind yet - I haven't experimented with smoothies in a while so I may chuck it if it's not good

Lunch/Snack/Dinner: will have to update

They started "surgery" on our master bathroom yesterday. It was actually a lot less messy than I expected. The downside is that my little cat is freaked out and has been meowing nonstop since last night. I love him dearly but he is trying my patience. :)

Hello,

As fun as my workout was yesterday, I can't believe this happened:

I was taking the plates off an EZ-curl bar resting on the weirdest preacher curl bench I have ever seen. http://store1.yimg.com/I/sportsunlimited_1842_33644893 See how in the bench in the picture there is a rest on EITHER SIDE? Well, this bench holds the bar by balance in the middle, so without thinking, I removed the plates from one end and SMASH!! I got clocked hard in the jaw. Anyways, I did not lose any teeth or break anything, but my jaw is still a tiny bit tender.

This morning I played piano at a funeral, and I teach piano and step tonight. I had a REALLY all out bad-food weekend, but everything sure tasted great!

Breakfast: banana, natural peanut butter, bagel
Snack: coffee with milk and Splenda
Lunch: butternut squash soup, saltines
Snack: peanuts, frozen grapes, veggies & dip?
Dinner: ??

I did my one-hour cycling class. It was a great class! Her routine was racing (she's a great instructor - her classes change each week) and boy did I sweat! I brought my HR monitor to class for the first time in months and boy did my HR improve since the last time I wore it! I'd suffer panic attacks during my work-outs so my HR would sky rocket - it was scary. So I stopped using it for a while since it was making me feel more panicky and started taking a natural supplement for anxiety. Well, the supplement worked and I felt like I was ready to use my monitor for today's class. After my class I did some weights. Pre-school's over so I don't have to do the rush through my shower and get out the door to pick up the kiddies at school.

Breakfast: Cereal with soy milk and a piece of toast

Lunch: Salad with tortilla chips and some pretzels afterward

Snack: Protein bar

Dinner: I have to work tonight so it'll be the Strawberry-Chicken Salad at Pannera - yum!!

How old is your son, Jean? A friend of mine started her daughter out at 9 years old for orthodontia and it was corrected. Then she got her 12 yr. molars in and it shifted her teeth around. She had to go through it again as a teenager . . . and my friend had to pay for braces yet again! Now I don't know if by having the work done at 9 that the second time around would go much quicker or if it really mattered. But I thought you should know . . .
