Oh my goodness, my inner thighs are in PAIN from boot camp yesterday, we did reverse lunges, inner thigh ball squeeze, and side lunges. This morning I am doing spinning, having an emissions test done on my car, and getting a pedicure (and valiantly trying not to smear it in less than 15 minutes) Then in the afternoon I will get groceries and finish doing laundry. No actual "work" today, woohoo! Last night at work I bought a bag of crispy M&M's that tasted funny and caused me to have a mild stomachache after...I've never heard of M&M's to go rancid but that may be a first!

Breakfast: bagel sammich
Snack: apple, Luna bar, frozen grapes, leftover shrimp cocktail
Lunch: we'll see what's appealing at the store
Dinner: ???

You really feel those inner thigh squeezes the day after! I was surprised because as I did them, I didn't feel them much.

Gosh, I am tired of being grouchy. *sigh*

I had planned to do a two mile speed run this morning but the fact that I've been awake since about 3:30 a.m. scrapped those plans. I am SO fricking tired of my allergies keeping me up. They woke me up yet again. (I do have an appointment with an allergist on Monday.) And then the cat started. Meow. Meow. Meow. Over and over and over again. If I close the bedroom door, he pulls up the Berber carpet because he's upset.

I am fortunate that I am not actually required to function as a human being today so I'm going to do as little as possible and keep myself away from as many people as possible so as not to infect them with my grouchiness.

Blah.

Pedicure sounds like a good idea. P.T. this morning; teach Step @ lunch; housework this afternoon; Spin Masterclass tonight. One of my co-ordinators has been trying to get me to take up/teach Spin for years, but I don't like riding stationary bikes so I've refused. I admit though that I've never even done a Spin class. People are telling me that its much different from just riding a stat. bike. Should be interesting doing it for the first time in a Masterclass, but hopefully I survive since I'll essentially be working out from 9:30 am to 5pm tomorrow (I teach 3 classes between 9:30 & 1:30 then rush to a cardio workshop that runs from 1:30 -5pm. Ack!)

Breakfast: Triple Berry Oatmeal Crisp w/ van. Silk; green tea

Lunch: something from the juice bar @ the organic market

Supper: not a clue since I don't know when I'll get home tonight

Snacks: fresh fruit & veggies; soy chai latte; rice chips; smoothie before the Masterclass

Because they come 6 in a pack and I can't throw out healthy food.

Lack of sleep can definitely do it with grouchiness.

I hate the stationary bike but I like spin/indoor cycling.

My gym was offering an outdoor cycling class and upon completion of the course (I think it was 6 weeks), the participants would be certified in something.

An outdoor cycling class sounds like fun.

Hahahaha, Jean. :) I'm the same way. I have trouble throwing out "healthy" stuff. Although, I do have my limits. I made a batch of lemon poppyseed protein muffins (the principle ingredient was protein powder) the other day and those suckers went down the drain. They were terrible.

What I probably would have done with your cardboard muffins is to dry them out and throw them in the food processor to make bread crumbs. You could use them later alone or to make a crumb topping for something.
