My favorite instructors have been the ones that are passionate about the class they're teaching.

the main thing i care about as far as what makes a good class is class format - the choreography if it's a step class, the progression of elements in a spin class, the exercises/number of reps in a sculpting class or kickboxing class, etc.


i don't care about the instructor's personality

I think it is a combination of many things, but first off the moves must be fun and engaging. Second, the instructor has to be pumped, I don't care if they do the stuff, but yeah, I guess drill sargeantish is best. Third, the music has to be upbeat. Don't care what it is, as long as it is exciting.
