Might try to get a bike ride in tonight. But I'm going to try to schedule a hair cut appointment for this evening (got some stuff to do this afternoon) and depending on when it is, I might not get the chance. But I definitely want to try to wear myself out somehow, so I'll go to bed early- I'm getting up at 5 am to drive to Upstate NY w/ my best friend, for the weekend. So if it gets too late, I might just do a video, or even use the treadmill.
I went on my inaugural bike ride this morning (yes, I got a helmet). I rode for about two miles and DH ran along side me until I went a little faster and left him in the dust. It got more comfortable than yesterday and even though I only rode a couple miles, I could feel it in my hamstrings. It was hard to control the weaving back and forth and I felt like a drunken biker but by the end of the ride, I was doing better. I still didn't take it on the trails yet - I stuck to the roads. It was fun and I look forward to doing more when I get better.
Speaking of which, I am feeling better today. DH and I went out for dinner last night and while the food wasn't all that spectacular, I had a margarita that was pretty darn good. We also hit Dairy Queen on the way home - that's one of those junk foods that I consider to be worth it. It just felt good to be out and about thinking about other things. I didn't actually dream about the surgery last night for the first night in about 5 days.
We have some wildfires in our area so it was pretty smoky out morning. It should be dissapating though since the fires are starting to be contained.
Not a whole lot of plans today. I have some straightening up to do and possibly some cleaning. We're meeting MIL for a late lunch/early dinner and we'll probably do some shopping afterwards.
wow, you are on fire this week! that's so awesome - you are so brave to challenge yourself and go beyond your comfort zone like that. it makes me so happy to hear that you are going to share more of your kick-ass self with the world - how lucky for them and hopefully fun for you too!
you certainly sound like you are doing better. maybe it IS
It's probably too early to be seeing any true results but probably the combination of the residual effects of Zoloft combined with the supplementation is helping.
It's broiling hot here and I just got back from spinning and getting groceries. So this afternoon I will stay in my nice A/C'd house and do laundry and nap because I didn't sleep very well at all last night.
Breakfast: 1 egg scrambled w/mushrooms, 1 slice toast w/butter & marmite Lunch: butternut squash soup, 1 WW wrap with chicken, cheese, spinach, avocado Dinner: leftover pork chops, fried rice, boccocini & tomato salad with fresh basil Post-dinner: I finally got all the fixings for martinis so I will try one tonight

Jean,
It's so hard to decide and the peak fruit season is so short!

I ordered Jonny's supplements directly from his website http://www.jonnybowden.com

Good for you!
