Anyone tried this stuff? I've been chosen, as a very active Canadian fitness pro, to give it a test run up here and hopefully spread positive word of mouth as a result. I hate drinking water so I often add Crystal Light to mine (i'm continually torn about using soemthing w/ artificial sweetener but when you're as active as I am & its the difference between being adequately hydrated or not I figure its best to choose the lesser of two evils). So anyway its a vitamin supplemented lightly flavoured water. I'm hoping its not too sweet because I'm expected to drink a fair amount of it. I'm not much for sweet stuff but couldn't pass up a bunch of free water. ;-) I'm not a sell-out, just a cheap-skate. :-P

I tried Propel, and while I like the taste, it has WAAAAY too much sugar for me to drink it regularly. I prefer Nestle Pure Life Flavour Splash, with 0 calories and sweetened with sucralose.

Have you added a slice of lemon or lime to your water? I drink plain water but I used to drink water that was fruit flavored that wasn't sweet. You have to look for it, and a few times I ended up with the artificially sweetened stuff.

You mean its really sweet? The info they gave me on indicates it has no sugar. Its sweetened w/ sucrose & a sucralose/acesulfame-potassium blend & is only 29 cal. per 700ml bottle. I need an average of 2700 cal./day so I'm not worried about how many calories it has I just don't like sweet things and the fact that sugary stuff is empty calories (plus I'm hypoglycemic so I have watch how I consume sugars & starches).

I add lemon or lime w/ lots of ice to water at home (I prefer tea or hot lemon water though)but that's a pain when I'm running all over from class to class, so I add 1/2 a pkg. of grapefruit-tangerine Crystal Light sometimes if I'm in a real water-disliking mood.

I distinctly remember reading on the label that it had 66 calories per bottle.

There's a market for a product--they could make little unsweetened flavor packets, like those little packets of Crystal Light.

Maybe they changed the formula or bottle size because my info comes directly from the makers. Even so 66 cal. isn't much if you like the flavour.

The Nestle Lemon Splash tastes identical for 0 calories. No vitamins, but I can live with that.
