We were going to lift today but doesn't look like that's going to happen. I have quite a bit of housework that I want to do before Monday and I'm a little tired to boot. I think I'm just going to spend the next two days doing whatever I feel like doing. So far, we've had a nice morning relaxing and catching up on TV from the week. We're taking some friends out to dinner tonight and that ought to be fun. No plans tomorrow except some last minute reassuring phone calls from family.
Ballroom dance sounds like so much fun to do with your SO. Dh and I can never coordinate a good time to do it.
This weekend dd had her teeball tournament. It was torcher for me. It was 98 degrees and I had to chase ds around while trying not to miss any of the game. They ended up in fourth, which is good considering they started out in 8th. The kids all made such great improvements throughout the season.
Sunday is the end of season cook out. I am more excited than dd because we are roasting marshmallows-my fav! But really nothing going on after the games and before the cookout. I'll probably hit the pool in the afternoon on sunday because it feels good on my feet (yes it is prego related-all the extra weight on my little feet).
Change of plans today... My mom and my stepdad surprised me by flying in from Missouri. My mom really really wanted to be here for the surgery despite a discussion we had a few weeks ago when I told her it wasn't necessary. They're only in town until Tuesday so it's nice to have the support without feeling smothered (which is what I worried about if I'd agreed to allow her to come her for a week - that's what she initially wanted).
We are still going out with our friends tonight but we'll be spending tomorrow with family. So, in the event that I don't have time to post tomorrow, thanks to all of you for your support and encouragement. I will try to get on the board as soon as humanly possible to let you all know that I'm alright. :)
