Ugh, no workout today either, because I'm helping my best friend put together her wedding invitations again tonight- we did most of the work last night. I'll be babysitting til pretty late, so I don't think I can get in a workout. Which really sucks cuz I really want to go lift weights- I wasn't able to go at all last week, and I don't want another week of that. Sigh...maybe tomorrow.
Yesterday... That gym was not impressive at all. This is all the classes they have http://www.goodlifefitness.com/groupexercise/schedules/schedule.aspx?schedid=6239 , plus they had no squat racks, no smith machine, no bench press stations, no spinning classes, no machines with the round plates - basically nothing for the advanced exerciser. Only cardio machines, the regular weight machines, and some dumbbells. I just took the tour, said "thanks" and went to my regular well-equipped gym!
Then in the evening, I had a insatiable craving for poutine http://www.flickr.com/photos/zorbs/22045002/ , which I hadn't had for about 3 years, finally gave in and had a small portion and savoured every bite.
Today, I am going to BOSU bootcamp, then spinning, and tonight I teach piano.
ugh, there is about 125% humidity here today. i hope it rains so the air is cooler by tonight, i want to go skating for a bit. i'm going to lift weights at lunch and then tonight i have yoga.
i'm starving, so i think i'm going to go get some breakfast...
cool. there are a lot more skate parks in no. VA than we have in maryland or DC. you also have a really great skate shop there in Fairfax. that's the one thing i've ever thought was better about no. VA - it's definitely more skateboarding-friendly!
i'd like to find a skate park that has girls-only hours.
My grandma would make the best turnip cake. She'd use dried shrimp and those terribly fatty sausages, scallions, cilantro, and mushrooms. None of the restaurants make it "just like grandma". What do you like to dip it in? Everyone I know has a different favourite sauce. I like worcestershire sauce or oyster sauce.

Yes, that's it.
That gym sucks!
Those fries remind me of the fries I used to get with vinegar.

coffee, scrambled tofu wrap, potatos, smoothie, luna bar, broccolini & veggies (didn't eat yesterday), pineapple (also didn't eat yesterday), amy's black-eye peas dinner
When you get comfortable at skating, you should go to Wakefield Rec Center.

Poutine is french fries, gravy, and cheese curds. It's a French Canadian specialty, and a heart attack in a bowl.
