It's not even 9:30 yet and I feel like I've done a full day's work!
Went to the gym, did step and 50 minutes of upper body weights (chest/back/shoulder)
Bought groceries. I usually buy them on Friday but everything is closed due to Canada Day.
I was really mad last night b/c I was kind of low on food and usually my mom makes fairly healthy dinners but she says we're having fried noodles & fried tofu...when I'm trying to detox from those french fries! But I will start fresh today. Later on I teach piano.
Pre-gym: banana, babybel, toast w/butter & marmite
Post-gym: virgin bloody Caesar, veggie omelet
Lunch: grilled steak salad from Boston Pizza (takeout)
Dinner: jellyfish & chicken (rubber bands & chicken), brown rice, veggie
Snack: veggies & dip, frozen blueberries in FF yogurt & splenda

Quick "Hello!" to everyone. Been/am busier than a termite in a lumberyard. Have to complete designing summer programs for a couple clients to do on their own, practice Body Combat to teach tonight, # 1 Son's farewell/grad @ school this afternoon (chaperoned his grad dance Mon. night). They have the school awards ceremony this morning which I have to skip to get all my work done so I can take him to lunch before heading to school w/ him this afternoon. Oh, gotta finish planning Canada Day potluck BBQ so everyone has a chance to get what they need tomorrow.
Breakfast: yummy 'crepe' (I found fruit tortilla wraps & spread raspberry jam on a blueberry one, filled it w/ fresh strawberries & sliced almonds then heated it. It was delicious); soy chai latte
Lunch: don't know, maybe falafel & veggies in a ww pita
Supper: salad of greens, cabbage, carrots, bell pepper, radish, cuke, mandarin orange & almonds drizzled w/ sesame-ginger dressing
Snacks: fresh fruit, another 'crepe'; carrots & hummus; tea
I am so tired!
When our children are babies & toddlers they are pretty much entirely dependent on us so they can take up every moment of our time if we don't allow ourselves to share the responsiblities & take some time to care for our own needs. As they get older they need us less & less which can be both good and bad, so it does get easier if you let it. I've found the more independent & self-sufficient my son becomes the more things I find to do so you may not ever find yourself less busy BUT if you're the best parent you can be (nobody's perfect despite what some may lead you to believe out there), giving your child respect & unconditional love and trying to offer them a balance between boundaries/limitations and the freedom to do & learn things for themselves it will get easier.
Hang in there, Millcreek. Things are especially tough in the beginning because you're not only learning as you go (w/ everyone in your life weighing in on how to/not to do everything), you're adjusting mentally & emotionally to a whole new life AND your hormones & body are still in the process of returning to normal. I was absolutely miserable the first 6-8 months w/fatigue, baby blues & an extremely intrusive & overbearing MIL, but it really did get better. There will always be so tough stages but overall its a wonderful, rewarding experience that I personally have never regretted for a single moment.
Good luck & take care. {{{{{HUGS - for you and your lovely little one}}}}}
I'm soooooo tired and I think I am comming down with something-blah!
I did 30 minutes on the arc trainer and yoga class. I taught kb tonight. I did forms this afternoon, and for the fun of it I decided to invent my own form...go figure.

chicken parmesan and pasta
I'm hungry but I don't want to eat much carbs or sugar because I have my glucose test tomorrow.
