I don't think it would be rude to bring veggies AND dessert but I wouldn't just bring veggies. If they are counting on you for dessert, that kind of ruins the meal plan, you know?

No plans this weekend since I can't actually do anything. I've been sleeping a lot, which is odd for me since I don't generally sleep too much. I think it's probably the pain meds. I also seem to nap twice a day which again is odd for me as usually I can't sleep for anything when the sun is out. Now though, I seem to be able to sleep at the drop of a hat. We just have plans to rest, watch movies, maybe do some reading, possibly work on my column... that's about it. I may have some visitors tomorrow and that would be nice. :) I also have a client that wants to come visit so she may stop by this weekend.

That's about it for me. Hope you all have a happy and safe 4th! :)

Went and checked out the museums yesterday. Jen, thanks for the recommendation- I did stop by the American Indian museum, and you're right, the food is terrific! (worth the over-pricing!) I had a fennel and fig salad and a cup of clam chowder (and it wasn't the super-creamy kind)- so tasty! Went out with some friends last night and stayed up til the wee hours of the morning- something I have not done in a LOOOONG time. I feel old :)

Today, I am taking the final class of the quick-start program at the rock-climbing gym. Tomorrow, hopefully traipsing around Great Falls Park, then meeting up with a friend or two. Monday, taking a bike ride, then sitting by the pool working on my tan, and going to a party in the evening where there will be various BBQ fare :)
