i haven't been running much lately, i'm sure i wouldn't be able to keep up! i haven't been doing any of the above lately. swimming in the morning when i can get up early enough, yoga, teaching cardio kickboxing, spinning, skateboarding, trying to get two weightlifting sessions in per week... that's been about it for me. i decided not to do that 8K race after all.
I think I'm going to enter the Competitive Restroom Olympics seeing as how I can get there in record time now. *grin*
No, sadly I am not training for anything except to function as a person again. I'm thinking that next week I'm might start going for little walks. I'm still forbidden from lifting for about a month, but I can start doing light cardio next week. I was sitting on my couch yesterday trying to figure if there was anyway I can "cheat" and work muscles without disturbing any of the surgical areas. Nope, there's not. My husband thought it was funny.
I'd probably try to do the same thing--maybe try to get in some concentration curls or something! But, our bodies are all connected...foot bone connected to the ankle bone, ankle bone connected to the shin bone...
