I was able to get out a little more yesterday. DH and I went to see War of the Worlds and out to lunch. I was tired when we got home, but it was nice to be able to get out. I am almost standing up straight today. I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon to get the last drain and a few more stitches out.

No plans today other than the doc appointment and I'll probably work on my CEC's some more. I'll try a food journal today and see if I can keep up with it.

Breakfast: protein pancakes with blueberries and a little light maple syrup

There is no VS in Canada. The only way I can get VS stuff is online.

really? how odd. i always imagined that the english-speaking parts of canada were pretty much identical to the US. well, except for that ice-sweeping game you all love.

that's what i get for basing my idea of a country on the Simpsons episode where they visit toronto. ("everything is so clean and bland," exclaims marge, "i feel so at home here!")

i want to go to canada and see all the exotic canadian culture and customs for myself. do you guys have Canadian sitcoms and reality shows that we don't see here in the States? what's a popular canadian sitcom? do you have Canadian musicians that are popular there but not here? or do you export all your popular musicians to the US market, like avril lavigne and celine dion?

Yeah, I have to admit his recent lunacy has definitely affected the hotness factor for me. As summer movies go, it was entertaining. DH thought there were a lot of logistical problems with it, but if you suspend your disbelief and take it for what it is, it was enjoyable and a nice escape. :)

DANGIT! I was going to go the rock-climbing gym, but when I went to pull my car out, I discovered I had a flat tire! >:O Now, I'm waiting around for the stupid Auto Rescue people to come, which means I can't go jump on the treadmill or anything like that.
