I ate small portions of a lot of different unhealthy foods over the weekend. My pants are tight. Time to buckle down.

Today I am taking Pilates, then I am subbing a 45 min step class at noon.

breakfast: wrap, blueberry yogurt
lunch: calamari salad
dinner: steamed fish

You and me both Millcreek. Want to get together for a chocolate happy hour? :)

I was pretty active this weekend and don't feel like I'm paying for it much today, which is good. We ran around all day on Saturday and DH took me shopping for my snooty bath/body products for my bday. We also met my BIL and his wife for dinner Saturday night. Also saw Wedding Crashers which is very, very funny. I tried to rest most of the day yesterday but we did do a bit of cleaning and a few little odds and ends.

I am going back to work today. It's working out quite nicely because a lot of my clients are either on vacation or have family in town for vacation so my schedule is quite sparse. Initially, I was disappointed but I think having a sparse schedule is a good segue to help me get back into things without overdoing it. I only have one hour client this afternoon and two on Thursday.

I was able to walk for 30 minutes this morning! I actually felt pretty good too. DH did not go with me so I took my mp3 player and the music was so motivating. I absolutely positively cannot wait to start weight training again. I miss that feeling of being strong.

Breakfast: egg scramble, nectarine

Snack: protein shake

Lunch: Tofu w/peanut sauce

Snack: cheese, cherries

Dinner: tilapia, salad, protein pudding

i have to buckle down too. as jean says, it's so hard to lose the weight that i really don't want to gain even a couple of pounds and have to deal with it. luckily i have a lot more structured exercise coming up in the next couple of weeks -- subbing an extra kickboxing class this week and next, and then DCAC -- so that will help.

today i think i'm going to go to the gym and do a muscular endurance/balance workout with the bosu, practice popping up, stuff like that. it will be more fun than strength training and i have to get in shape for surfing and skateboarding! tonight i teach cardio kickboxing and hopefully i'll get a little skating in before i teach.

i just signed up for an all-girl skateboarding clinic in August - i'm super excited though i have to drive all the way to philadelphia for it. http://girlslearntoride.com/EventSite/View/Pages/EventDetail.aspx?EventID=100414

This is going to be a BAD week as far as food and exercise go. I went climbing yesterday. No time for workout today cuz I'm having dinner with a friend. Tomorrow I am babysitting double duty (11 to 5 and then 6 til whenever). Then on Wednesday, I have a friend coming to visit until Sunday, which means eating out and no workouts :( Ah well, there is always next Sunday...
