Revel in the fact that you had the mere guts to do the contest, Millcreek. :)
I've got one client this morning and then I'm going to attempt to do my cardio on the elliptical. If it doesn't feel good, I'll switch to the treadmill. Either way, I won't have to deal with the gross monsoon weather and that's a beautiful thing.
Breakfast: egg scramble, rainier cherries
Snack: protein shake
Lunch: tofu and chicken in peanut sauce, broccoli
Snack: nectarine, string cheese
Dinner: tilapia crusted with walnuts and parmesan, salad, protein pudding, maybe more cherries
I managed to stay on the elliptical for 45 minutes this morning and wow, it felt good to exercise. I knew I missed it, but didn't realize how much until I worked out. It went much better than expected - no pain and I did it the way I usually do (without holding onto the arm handles so you get a core workout too). I'm just hoping I don't wake up sorry tomorrow. :)
I realized that not working out is bad for my mental health. The recovery period made me realize that when I can't use exercise as an outlet for my aggravations and frustrations, I get very negative and just ruminate.
Probably not because I work there. I went in last week to train a few people and it was good to be back in that capacity. I have a lot of friends at work and it was really nice to see everybody.
I had the WORST weekend foodwise. I shall not dwell on it anymore.
Breakfast: iced nonfat latte w/splenda and a fruit & cheese plate from Starbucks Lunch: peanuts, butternut squash soup, WW saltines Dinner: fish "jook" (rice porridge) with cilantro
I did 30 min of bi/tri at the gym then a 45 min double step class.

Went to class today and now I face the class and do everything in mirror image.
