It's going to be miserably hot here today, too. DD has her riding lesson at 10am this morning out in this heat.
I teach cardio combo today, and I am going to stay ( if it's not miserably hot in there) for the 30 min. high intensity step and pilates too.

Breakfast: Low Fat Granola Bar ( * I know I still need to go to the store*)

Snack: Baby Carrots, almonds

Lunch: Tuna w/ banana peppers

Snack: Apple w/ LF Peanut Butter

Dinner: I am probably going to pick up Subway tonight and make it easy on myself.

It's unbearably hot here too. :( I don't have anything to do today except rest and I may go on up to the grocery store. I need to do some shopping online for linens and that's about it. Wish I had a busier day but I don't want to wear myself out.

I don't feel sore at all from the cardio yesterday so that's good. I've been using my nutrition software and doing my high protein diet since last Tuesday. So far, I'm down 1.5 lbs. That's on top of the 10 I lost through the surgery/recovery process. Hopefully, it'll keep going that way. :)

Breakfast: protein pancakes w/blueberries

Snack: protein shake

Lunch: tofu and chicken in peanut sauce, cherries

Snack: nectarine and cheese

Dinner: don't know yet?

My mother prevented me from going to the gym today by surprising me with an ambush makeover for the house.

Hey ladies, sorry I've been kinda MIA lately. I haven't been on either this board or the other board I frequent b/c of some b.s. 7th grade drama on the other board. Long story short, a few girls decided to gang up on me, posting about me behind my back, so to speak, insinuating that I am bulemic, calling me "pathetic" because I miss my ex-boyfriend and various other lovely and mature sentiments. Of course, they got away with it, none of the nasty posts were removed, and anyone who tried to politely stand up for me got a TOS violation! Ugh...it's the freaking Internet- some people need to get lives. But it makes me really angry that people like that are allowed to get away with acting the way they do. You'd think that by the mid-20's women would stop playing catty lunchroom games.

Anyway, I've been lousy about working out- WAY too freaking hot and way too tired. I had a friend in town this weekend, a guy, so there went my food plans. Blah...

My older son threw up this morning so I have officially declared today as Pajama Day.

Awwww... thanks, Millcreek. :) I did give myself about 3 weeks to eat whatever I wanted. I think that first week I lived on Jolly Ranchers and orange slices (the candy, not the fruit). Nothing else tasted good. I am generally very hard on myself and push-push-push all the time so along with the surgery, I have resolved to be kinder to myself. It's a little tough not to be a drill sargeant with myself all the time, but I'm getting better at it.
