other message boards?

since we were discussing other message boards, i'm curious - where else on the net do you all hang out? what other ivillage boards do you all go to (either regularly or just occasionally)? what about non-ivillage boards? friendster or myspace?
on a different topic, when was the last time you googled yourself? someone else?

lately, i've been stopping in regularly at the ivillage tattoos and piercings board. occasionally i stop by vegetarian living and childfree by choice, but i don't have much to say at either of those boards.
off of ivillage, once in a while i stop by grassroots veganism at vegsource.com and a couple other vegsource boards. i'm on friendster, but i've never found it to be much use for anything and i don't really visit there often. i just went on myspace for the first time, because so many people i know are there, but i'm not sure i like it any better than friendster. it's still a bunch of people who think they are super cool trying to convince others how cool they are. the pretension levels are off the charts. they have message boards there (including a lot of skateboarding boards, which is what i was looking for), so that might be interesting, but you can't post to them until you've been a member for a week so i'll have to see.
but it seems like in most internet forums the majority of the posters are a-holes. i'm glad this board isn't like that.
I am cl of the Losing Weight board.
I'm everywhere on the diet and fitness boards, or at least it seems like that--but it's about half a dozen or so.
Great question, Jen.
Thanks!
I'll add on:
1)
1) Do you have an eBay star?
Nope.
2) Are you registered on classmates.com?
That one, or reunion.com... I can't remember. It bothers me that you have to pay to look at the profiles of classmates so I generally boycott those sites altogether. There used to be a free site and then when the pay sites came around, the free site started charging too.
3) Have you googled someone from your past?
Yep, I have with disappointing results.
On ivillage, the only place I regularly post is here. I read and occasionally post over at Ask the Healthy Eating Expert. I just read Battle of the Bulge (I used to be a regular over there), Compulsive Overeating and Everyday Fitness.
Elsewhere, I participate minimally on the boards at discussfitness.com.
It's funny how you can go to a message board and even if the topic is in common, you just don't "fit." I've left a few boards on ivillage because the people didn't seem very friendly, they were too cliqueish, or there was too much drama. I used to be a CL once upon a time ago and have always gravitated towards boards that are run the way I used to run my board. :)
