Ideas needed for DH....

I would like to do something nice for DH. He did an amazing job during my recovery and went above and beyond the call of duty. He did things for me that were so NOT covered in our wedding vows.

I want to do something really special for him, but I'm a little stuck. We're taking a couple of trips in the not too distant future so going away probably isn't a good idea. Anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks much. :)

Cards with a heartfelt, handwritten note always mean the most to me.

Good suggestions... my DH is just not a "stuff" kind of guy. :) I sort of wanted to get him some climbing gear but I have to have him with me to know what to buy and then we both agree it's sort of silly since we combine our finances.

He's not into massages or I would have done that long ago.

The pedicure is an interesting idea.

What about something simple like surprising him with a breakfast in bed. Just something to take care of him since he did such a good job taking care of you.

do his half of the chores for a week.

for christmas, i gave T the present of doing all of the dishes for a month (usually we each do our own) that was probably the best present i could have given him, since he didn't want any stuff and it's really nice to be able to dirty dishes and not have to clean them! (or, for your DH, do laundry or whatever he hates doing)

How about some kind of experience?
