Exercise DVD's?
| Sun, 07-31-2005 - 10:40pm |
I am in need of recommendations for some exercise DVD's. I am specifically looking for a cardio work-out. I'm only at the gym two days a week and need other means of doing cardio at home since exercising outside isn't an option at this point.
I know MTV has put out some hip-hop exercise DVD's and I thought that might be fun. I think I'd rather be gettin' down with my bad white girl self than doing solo grapevines across the living room. :)
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Here, I'll be a good cl and post the link to the Kathy Smith board:

Jean,
if you want a step dvd, marcus irwin is my favorite step instructor, and he has dvds. i have one, and it's fun but not as fun as doing step in person. rob glick is another great step instructor and he has dvds too.
sorry, i don't know anything about dancey dvds, but you know what i always wanted? that dvd advertised on cable by the choreographer for like nsync and brittney spears and he supposedly teaches you that kind of choreography - it's not a fitness dvd, but i'm sure it's a great workout.
also, dance dance revolution is a great way to workout at home, plus unlike a dvd it will record how many calories you burn each day.
Crud, a friend of mine has the most beautiful body and she works out with an at home program, but I can't remember exactly what it is called now. Something like Trim and Fit, or Fit and trim, or Beach body...I wish I could remember it now, but maybe somebody on the board can decode my memory.
