I remember when you started working out after having your daughter, you were complaining that you seemed to be gaining weight? I take it the scale eventually started to go down?

My weight has been fluctuating wildly this week and I'm a little annoyed because I've been working my booty off and being very good with my high protein diet. I expected to see a loss and I haven't really. Have I mentioned that I'm not very patient? :)

It's something how our bodies force us to protect it while it's recovering.

You are probably right and thank you for the reminder. It gets hard to keep in mind that my body is still recovering since I'm mobile, able to work out, etc. It's also hard to believe that I'm probably still swollen even though it's to be expected.

As I said earlier, I'm not a very patient person. :) The fact that I made it through the major part of recovery without going postal is a miracle in and of itself.

i've totally been there. I try to loose weight but I don't no matter how hard I work. Then when I happen to miss workouts and eat like crud I loose the weight. Go figure!

Be patient and it will come off when you stop trying so hard.
