Hello!

I don't think my 7 hours of walking yesterday made up for the calories I consumed! It's gonna be hardcore at the gym today, upper body weights, and then Spin. This afternoon I have to book tickets/hotel for a wedding out on the east coast in October. Tomorrow, I am doing something really Gym-Ratty exciting - I am taking a class at an all-Spin gym in downtown Toronto. All their instructors are Johnny G. certified, so I know there will be no one-legged pedalling or anything like that! http://www.quadspin.com

Perusing their website yesterday, I discovered that Quad is opening a new location in September - right in the same town where my new jobs are! So you can be sure I got a resume emailed to them pretty quickly.

Oh, and I made roast beets the other day. http://flickr.com/photos/zorbs/37928209/ They were really tasty, but I'll just say that BOTH things came out the other end fuchsia the next day. Uhhh, I apologize for the TMI..... :P

Breakfast: blueberry yogurt, smoked salmon bagel sammich
Lunch: pepper steak, roasted veggies
Dinner: going to bf's house...I'm supposed to bring something...I think whole wheat ravioli, red peppers, and portobello mushrooms

Easy day for me. Good thing since # 1 Son had a friend sleepover so, living in a VERY small house, I wasn't able to fall asleep until well after one. When I got up 5:45 my son was STILL up. So needless to say I'm soooo tired (actually been really tired for about a week now - nodding off in front of a campfire; while sitting at the kitchen table reading; watching videos w/ my guys...) Well I only have a low impact cardio class and need to finish memorizing the 3 'Power' tracks I'm still iffy on(teaching this Thurs. & Sat.), maybe work on getting down some of the Bonus tracks for the 'Kick' workout since I have to start mixing them w/ the regular tracks soon. (Ack, we have the Fall releases arriving this week so then I'll have to start on those as well as the Bonus tracks for Power. Then in about 4 weeks I'll have to sart working on the Bonus tracks for the these releases too. Talk about mental exercise. I only teach 2 BTS classes but some instructors teach all five that we offer. However, they don't teach any freestyle so that makes a difference I'm sure. I'll probably be asked to certify in the Older Adults program - don't remember what its called - when we bring that in, but I'm not sure my little blonde brain is up to the task. I've already passed certifying in 'Ride' & will probably be do so w/ 'Centergy' & 'Step too if they ask.) Oops, sorry for rambling. It's the by-product of fatigue.

Breakfast: oatmeal & flax w/ berries & vanilla Silk; really strong coffee (green tea won't cut it this morning)

Lunch: Sandwich (multigrain bread w/ french onion Tofutti cream cheese, Tofurkey, lettuce & tomato fresh off the vine)

Supper: hmmm... maybe salad (lettuce, carrot, tomato, red onion, artichoke heart, hemp seed drizzled w/ homemade balsamic vinaigrette); roast potato w/ dill Tofutti cream cheese

Snacks: torilla chips w/ pineapple salsa; fresh fruit; raspberry granola w/ vanilla Silk OR hemp brownies (I bought mix but haven't made it yet)

Doing legs this morning. I have an appointment this afternoon with an advertising lady, then an appointment with my doctor, and an appointment this evening with some clients that want to start training.

Breafkast: cereal w/skim milk

Snack: protein shake

Lunch: chile relleno casserole, protein pudding

Will have to update the rest... just don't know right now.

That's cool that you're meeting with clients.

Thanks for asking. I'm feeling mostly normal these days. I do have some occasional stomach pain but I'm realizing that usually happens after I let my 15 lb bundle of fur sit on me for a while. Him sitting on me is okay, but it's the fact that he has to turn around 10 times before he sits down.... :P

I mostly like the way I look. My stomach looks decent, but I am not extraordinarily pleased with my legs. Yes, they look better but they still don't look attractive to me. There's still loose skin there, but I imagine he took off as much as he could. (That's the doctor I'm going to see this afternoon.) I'm doing my best to take care of some stuff on the inside as I think I've pushed genetics as far as they will go. I think the rest of the work is in my head.

Keep in mind that your view of your legs isn't the same as the rest of the world because you're seeing them from above. I keep telling myself that.

Aha! I've been craving spinach & chard like crazy (but haven't had more than a little wee serving mixed w/ chickpeas & whole grain pasta). So, I bet I've been so tired due to low iron.

Mmmmm... spinach or chard sauteed in olive oil w/ w/ garlic, lemon juice & a pinch of sea salt & freshly ground pepper. :-P
