I have to "make myself eat" in the morning. It really does make a huge difference to how I feel & eat the rest of the day. However, because of my schedule & outrageous caloric needs find myself ravenous when I get home from the gym at night & eat pretty steadily right up until bed. BUT before I ate breakfast I would binge at lunch and gorge on junk at night. Now I eat a light but hearty lunch and generally a light supper as well, then nibble steadily after. It definitely feels better, mentally & physically (aside from my new addiction, which I'll mention in my Thurs. journal).
i actually don't do that any more (eat a light snack before working out) because that's my hungriest time of day and the snack was never enough for me. i'd end up famished after working out and eating tons of food at 9 pm.
