I'm up early today because someone called DH's cell phone by accident and then neither of us could go back to sleep. I'm doing back/biceps today along with a video. I have two clients today.

Breakfast: peanut butter banana wrap

Snack: protein shake

Will have to update the rest.... *yawn*

DH and I had an argument this morning, which is unusual for us, and now I'm so upset that I can't eat anything.

Sorry to hear that, Millcreek. :( Sounds like the two of you need some regularly scheduled date time.

I hope you get it worked out.

It probably doesn't make you feel better but it's a pretty common complaint from dads.

How's working out at home going?

I kept thinking I'd do ball class and then realized my daughter's birthday party is tonight so I can't go.:-(

are they still not back in school yet? fairfax must be the last school district around here to go back.

in all honesty, pizza/build a bear/sleepover sounds a heck of lot better than baby/cranky husband/full-time job, so i think millcreek wins the mommy pity award today.

i forgot to mention yesterday that i also went to yoga. i always forget to mention that so i thought i'd let you know that i'm still going to yoga every week! (well almost every week)

no exercise today except maybe some skateboarding tonight. it's harder to fit it in as the sun goes down earlier. not sure about food.

Lower body boot camp. Teaching piano. Painting my toenails this afternoon. It sounds like a life of leisure but it all ends next week.

Breakfast: quinoa crunches
Snack: a pint of blueberries
Lunch: gardenburger on bagel, roasted veggies
Dinner: fish paste cake stir fried with broccoli, brown rice

Working out at home is going just fine except that this pain in my stomach is still kinda bothering me. I'm sure I just overdid it one day this week, but unfortunately, the pain is right in the core so even though I avoided doing abs this week, it's impossible to avoid using the core.

Yes, I am very thankful to be child-free. I was at the doctor's office on Tuesday and there was a father watching his two kids while the mom was getting a consult. The kids were running around the office, taking the pillows off the couches and laying on the floor. The father seemed nonplussed and occasionally looked up to tell them to stop or give them a cheerio. Two women came in who were obviously recently post-op and he made no effort to control these kids or even get up so they could sit down (the waiting room is small and gets crowded fast). When I was leaving, the mother was also checking out and one of her kids ran to the door and stood in front of it so I couldn't open it. I looked up at her to come and get her child but all she said was "Don't let him out." I kept telling the child to go back to his mom, but he just stood there and looked at me. The mother finally finished up at the front desk and said to me "He's a smart boy. He knows an adult is going to open the door so he'll just wait until you do." Mind you, I was standing there for at least a minute and a half because the child would not move and the mother told me not to let him out. She never apologized or anything. Uggghghghgh.
