Jean, it's that alpha male inside you. Embrace it. :) I can be the same way.

I am doing chest, triceps and shoulders today. My abs are still hurting a bit so I'm going to modify some of my exercises to put let pressure on my core. I'll also do a cardio video too. We're having a famiy thing this afternoon. DH and I saved our cheat day for today except I'm not all that fond of what we're having at the family gathering (hot dogs, hamburgers, potato salad, baked beans, carrot cake - it's all fine, but not what I would consider cheat day-worthy). I need to make a batch of snickerdoodles for our friend that we're going to see this coming weekend so I think I may do that and freeze them (and we can also eat some too!). :)

Hope everybody has a happy and safe labor day.

Okay, when you find the alpha male tshirt, get me one too. :)

I can post my snickerdoodle recipe if you want. They always turn out beautifully, but my hands always end up a mess because I roll each one in cinnamon and sugar.

I had Tres Leche cake a long time ago and don't honestly remember if I liked it or not. My tastes have changed a lot since then.

I'm w/ you on this one, Jean. I respond thinking I really have something important to get off my chest, then after think one of two things, "Nobody really cares what I think and I didn't really offer anything insightful or important," OR "Geez, that didn't sound at all like I intended it to. I hope I didn't offend anyone."

Been up for awhile waiting for #1Son to arise before i make breaky. DH is off for a long day of golf. Going to practice 'Kick' & 'Power', do some baking, may walk the dog or have coffee w/ a neighbour.

Breakfast: hot lemon water; multigrain waffles w/ berries and blueberry syrup; tea

Lunch: Amy's rice & bean burrito

Supper: no clue

Snacks: fresh fruit; carrots & hummus; whatever I bake; probably a few of those darn Terra Kettle chips; tea/coffee

This does make me think about how unfair it is to have both stretch marks which rise above the skin and cellulite which dimple in.
