OMG, I got touched today too!

Some guy, a regular, was walking past while I was riding the bike and I started laughing at his shirt ("Define Girlfriend") and he stopped and put his hand on the small of my back and told me that I was really making great progress and to keep up the good work.

I took it as a compliment, but was weird that he touched me when I've never once talked to him before or even acknowledged his presence or he mine.

that reminds me of the old joke about how the difference between a successful pick up line and sexual harrassment is how hot the guy is. it's totally true though: where we draw the line between acceptable and offensive has a lot to do with how skeezy vs. hot we find the guy in question. although it's definitely possible for even the hottest guy to cross the line into offensiveness.
