I wouldn't say awesome. Part of the reason Seniors love me is my music. I play primarily oldies from the early 50's thru mid 70's and jazz for this group, w/ some Broadway, swing, big band and more current (mid 70's -90's) 'easy listening' thrown in on occasion. They've joked that its hard to follow the workout sometimes because they just want to sing and/or dance. They love to talk about music w/ me afterwards. Being a dancer and the daughter of people who started their careers, and met, in radio has given me a very broad appreciation & extensive knowledge of all kinds of music. I'm known for the music I choose and since this is such an important aspect of group fitness classes it goes a long way to colour people's feelings about me & my classes in a positive way.

It is a funny story, actually. Normally people bribe their children with candy, well I got the idea of bribing them with peaches, bananas, apples, plums, grapes, and strawberries. Eventually they started believing that fruit must be something great. Then, when they would eat all my fruit I would make a big deal about it, like I was upset/sad that it was all gone. They thought that was funny, and now they do it everytime I leave out a bowl of strawberries and grapes.

I have no doubt that if you thought it was hard, that it must be a big hill.
