I'm teaching sports conditioning today. I've been gardening lately, too.

I just got back from the gym where I did 30 min elliptical and shoulders. While I was on the elliptical, the lady from the front desk came over to say I had a phone call. It was from an instructor whose daughter was sick and needed someone to cover 2 classes this morning. Normally, I would be available, but this morning at 11 I am going to tour a gym near where I work. It is the same chain that I had the interview with a couple weeks ago and was weirded out by the utter snottiness. This location is in a different town so hopefully the attitude will be better. http://www.premierfitness.ca/club-burlington-brant/index.html I like their facilities. Tonight I teach piano.

Pre-gym: banana & PB in a pita
Post-gym: amy's brown rice bowl
Lunch: ???
Dinner: ???
Snack: coffee, veggie booty

I'm doing legs this morning and DH and I are going to a Yoga Flow class later in the morning. I have a few phone calls to make, odds and ends to deal with, but not much going on for the day.

Breakfast: Kashi w/soymilk

Snack: soy protein shake

Lunch: grilled chicken wrap, carrots and hummus

The rest of the day is variable because DH has a Chick-Fil-A sleepover with his buddy tonight. They're going to head out later in the afternoon. His friend's wife and I may go up and visit "the gay couple" as we're calling them. *grin* I was thinking I may make cookies or something for them to munch on since they'll be outside all night.

I think some people do not get the solitary gymrat thing. When I'm clearly working out by myself, chances are that I'm concentrating and no, I do not want to talk to you.

When I was still at the gym, I used to pray that clients, other trainers or people who recognized me as a trainer would NOT get on the elliptical next to me. I'm all for being friendly, but let me have my zone where nothing exists but me and my mp3 player... :P

Last Friday when I went hiking, I ran into a trainer from the gym and even though it was nice to see her and we chatted for a few minutes, I'm thinking "Oh, this is going to affect my time" since I've been timing how long it takes me and I'm trying to get faster and faster.

It looks like you're eating a little more regularly. Good for you! I was worried w/ all you do & breastfeeding too that you might be getting dangerously run down.

Cool gym! I love that it has a boxing ring and a Booster Juice.
