Good morning!
Actually, I feel like crap this morning...I get home from work on Tuesday nights around 9:45pm and it takes me a couple of hours to unwind before I can sleep. But I went to bed around 10:45 and tossed and turned all night so needless to say I did not make it to the early step class at the gym. I am going to do a little bit of elliptical and then legs this morning.
I teach piano this afternoon.
My bf's house still hasn't sold after 4 weeks. Please think good thoughts!
Breakfast: lavash, brie, apple, V8

Best wishes on selling the house!
Well, I planned to do my hike this morning and then go to yoga w/DH, but upon waking up I decided to forgo the hike and just do yoga. I have really worked hard the last two days and am trying to pay attention to possible overtraining instead of talking myself into things because it was in "the plan." That means I probably won't get a hike in this week and that's disappointing, but oh well. Usually, Saturdays can be my "default day" so if I need to take a little break during the week (like today), I still have another day to do whatever I wanted to do. That's out this week and next week though.
No work today. Going to yoga and lunch with DH. I have some odds and ends to do around here. I've been processing some heavy duty stuff lately so I'm going to be doing some journaling.
Breakfast: protein shake
Lunch: Chick-Fil-A and frozen yogurt w/DH
Dinner: depends on how hungry I am...probably veggies
Sorry you had such a rough night last night. Hope BF's house sells soon. Has there been any interest in it?

I posted the recipe below and it's vegan.
I hope you get some rest & feel better soon.
I've got the usual busy day. My work schedule has become absolutely manic. Both the gyms I started working for in the spring when one of my others closed have been calling on me for more classes. On top of that there's two really bad viruses going around, one cold & one flu, and I'm being called upon to sub quite a bit. Apparently I've earned the title of 'Goddess of Helping Others Out in a Jam' (I think I'll have it shortened to 'The Goddess' ~,~ ) & everyone has been informed to call me first. Luckily, everyone's been pretty understanding about my being sick too right now - someone else has stepped up to sub the last few times I've been called on (yesterday, the day before, today - we need classes covered almost daily right now). On top of that the corporate gym, w/ the members that petitioned to have me there more, had been getting complaints about another instructor. That instructor decided to quit instead of making constructive use of the criticism so there's been a scramble to get her classes covered. (I'm a little disappointed in her as she's an instructor I mentored & I know she has the potential to be a fabulous instructor if she curb her inclination to lecture her classes at the expense of actually working out.) Soooo... I'm currently doing 3-4 classes/day, 6 days a week, have mentoring duty on Sundays and working on memorizing the pre-choreographed classes during any spare moment and occasionally squeeze in a client. I'm neither bragging or complaining, as I love my job & have only myself to blame for my current schedule, just blathering mindlessly.
I teach two weight lifting & two cardio classes today.
Breakfast: crushed wheat toast w/ PB; chai latte
Lunch: hot & sour rice noodles w/ seaweed & sesame; tea
Supper: stir fried spinach w/ garlic & tamari; lentil soup; tea
Snacks: dunno
Thanks, Jean!!! I see I'm not the only cheater that uses wonton wrapper instead making my fresh pasta. Actually, they're really my only option because I don't think you could successfully make fresh pasta w/o eggs.
Mmmmm... Pumpkin ravioli. Now I just have to find time to make it. Maybe if I make the filling ahead of time i can just throw it together on the weekend. Maybe serve it Garlic Mashed Cauliflour and 9 grain Ciabatta - lightly toasted, then drizzled w/ herb infused E.V.O.O.
I'm seem to be missing the gene that allows one to use the words "no", "can't" & "won't".
I'm hoping this cold is the payback balancing all the kudos I'm receiving. If all the other stuff weren't enough I even received a CC a couple weeks ago of mssg. sent from a fellow instructor (whom I hardly know & haven't subbed for since summer) to our boss praising me for always being so supportive & available. Her thoughtfulness astounded & embarassed me.
I just realized I probably don't have a head cold after all. My ego has probably swollen to such epic porportions recently that my head maybe on the verge of exploding. :-o
I'll be getting my comeuppance soon though. The pre-choreographed KB class that I'm trained for? Well I start teaching it twice weekly starting later this week - i'm taking over a timeslot that had the same instructor for 3-4 years and a brand new slot. I haven't taught or even done the class in a month so I'm gonna be really rusty (the participants will undoubtedly know the choreography better than me). To make matters worse I haven't had time to make a serious effort to learn the new release (which means a whole new class) which I have to have down to a T in just over two weeks (actually a week & a half as I'm supposed to have it memorized for the staff practice). Sooo...I'll go make a complete a$$ of myself, everyone will hate me in those classes and the word will spread about what a lousy instructor I am, so anyone who hasn't done any of my other classes won't want to come to any of mine at all. Then my numbers will go down & I'll be relegated to the sub list.
Ah, its all about balance. ;-)
