Thanks for making it bilingual. It really helped me to understand the questions. ;)

> what is your favorite/favourite thing about halloween? The chocolate bars that are left over, haha.

> would you rather be pitied or feared? I would much rather be feared for sure.

> how many corn tamales do you think you could eat in one sitting? i think i could eat 20 on an empty stomach. We don't really have those up in my part of Canada so I don't know. Are they the same as tacos?

> if you could change your name, would you? and if so what would you change it to? I would not change my name, except maybe to shorten my last name. I have both mine and my husband's (NO hyphen) at his insistence and I would have probably pushed harder to just have mine. I like my first name though.

> what is your favorite/favourite "pet name" or nickname to be called? who calls you that? where'd the name come from? I really don't have a pet name or nickname. Some people shorten my name when they talk to me but that is it.

> what is your favorite/favourite "pet name" or nickname that you call someone else? who do you call that? where'd the name come from? I can't think of any pet names that I have for anyone. I am not really into them.

> what are three things you'd like for christmas/hanukah/obnoxious-gift-giving-season? A new CD/MP3 player, a new yoga mat to replace by worn out one, and some personal training sessions for after I have my next baby (and no I am not pregnant yet lol)

> what was the first album you ever bought? My mother was really into music and worked for a radio station so she always bought them or brought them home with her so I don't know which one I actually bought. I remember us having Michael Jackson's album with the song Ben on it.

> what was the last one you bought? I think it was Jamiroqua.

> what's your favorite/favourite scary movie? I guess Halloween.

> what is the sexiest thing you saw/heard/etc. today? I saw a good looking guy at the gym at lunchtime but that is about it.

> what's your favorite/favourite thing to do to waste time at work? surf the internet and check message boards like this one.

> if you had to be some kind of horror movie villain/monster, which one would you be and why? I don't know because I am not really into these movies.

> what are you superstitious about? nothing I can think of

> what's the best halloween costume you ever wore? I was a geisha once and put it together myself and it looked pretty good.

> do you believe in ghosts? yes

> do you like doing the zombie dance from michael jackson's thriller video? i do. I used to lol.

> what is your favorite/favourite thing about halloween?
Candy corn!

> would you rather be pitied or feared?
Feared

> how many corn tamales do you think you could eat in one sitting? i think i could eat 20 on an empty stomach.
I bet I could do 10.

> if you could change your name, would you? and if so what would you change it to?
Wouldn't change it-I don't come across too many Sydneys that are my age :)

> what is your favorite/favourite "pet name" or nickname to be called? who calls you that? where'd the name come from?

My favorite nickname is Syd-I used to hate it as a kid because I thought it de-feminized my name, but now I love it. Everyone uses it with me.

> what is your favorite/favourite "pet name" or nickname that you call someone else? who do you call that? where'd the name come from?
I call one of my girlfriends my "wife" because when we were at a conference together, we met some guys at the hotel hot tub-they asked where we were from, and we decided to be smart-assed and said we were on our honeymoon :)

> what are three things you'd like for christmas/hanukah/obnoxious-gift-giving-season?
A pull-up bar for my closet door
spa gift certificate
Books

> what was the first album you ever bought?
Cyndi Lauper, A Night to Remember

> what was the last one you bought?
Depeche Mode's newest

> what's your favorite/favourite scary movie?
Cujo

> what is the sexiest thing you saw/heard/etc. today?
Russell Crowe on the Gladiator DVD cover

> what's your favorite/favourite thing to do to waste time at work?
Surf the net, of course!

> if you had to be some kind of horror movie villain/monster, which one would you be and why?
I'm stumped on this one.

> what are you superstitious about?
Only one thing, and it's kinda quirky. I'm superstitious about tattoos of people's names. Like, I think if one gets a tattoo of their boyfriend's name on her body, they will end up breaking up.

> what's the best halloween costume you ever wore?
Sydney Bristow from the Alias pilot episode

> do you believe in ghosts?
No

> do you like doing the zombie dance from michael jackson's thriller video? i do.
I HAVE to do the dance whenever I hear the song, even if I happen to be in the car!

Good stuff!

you are totally cracking me about your daughter doing the thriller dance! i feel so mean laughing at a little girl behind her back!

my answers:

> what is your favorite/favourite thing about halloween?

right now, i think it might be jack o lanterns. i wanted to post a pic of the one we carved last night but now that i don't have that fancy ivillage package anymore i don't think i can post photos.

> would you rather be pitied or feared?

that's a hard one. my instinct is pitied because being feared would be more lonely.

> how many corn tamales do you think you could eat in one sitting?

jo- tamales are made out of corn meal and they are steamed in a corn husk, sort of like polenta or a moist, dense cornbread. we get really good ones at this restaurant near my house and i think i could eat 20 on an empty stomach.

> if you could change your name, would you? and if so what would you change it to?

definitely! i'm not sure to what, but i really like double syllable names like mimi and zuzu. (of course, we all COULD change our names, so the question is kind of dumb, but you all knew what i meant.)

> what is your favorite/favourite "pet name" or nickname to be called? who calls you that? where'd the name come from?

i like being called "sunshine", but no one regularly calls me that, just once in a while a random person will and it makes my day. i like "pumpkin" a lot too. T calls me that sometimes, but i think i like it so much because my dad used to call me that when i was young. T and i have a lot of pet names for each other, but not many stick consistently over time, they are always changing.

> what is your favorite/favourite "pet name" or nickname that you call someone else? who do you call that? where'd the name come from?

i call T "moondog" sometimes, like gidget's boyfriend. also a lot of things with -pants as a suffix.

> what are three things you'd like for christmas/hanukah/obnoxious-gift-giving-season?

a particular black long sleeved shirt from american apparel, a particular kind of organic cotton yarn that i want to dye with lichens, a bottle of that biodynamic champagne i wrote about last new year's

> what was the first album you ever bought?

with my own money, i believe it was billy joel's glass houses. i still really love that album.

> what was the last one you bought?

ozomatli's new "live at the fillmore" cd.

> what's your favorite/favourite scary movie?

i can't pick either! of movie made after 1990, blair witch.

> what is the sexiest thing you saw/heard/etc. today?

i'm not having a very sexy day so far either. i was listening to some electronic music this morning, and i find that pretty sexy. or maybe i'm the sexiest thing i saw today - i do look pretty cute today.

> what's your favorite/favourite thing to do to waste time at work?

blog and read other people's blogs

> if you had to be some kind of horror movie villain/monster, which one would you be and why?

i'm too blobby already! i'd probably be some kind of vampire.

> what are you superstitious about?

lots of things... knocking on wood, not making wishes... you all already know my weird superstitions.

> what's the best halloween costume you ever wore?

at the time it wasn't so exciting, but in retrospect it's my favorite - don johnson (was he crockett or tubbs?) in miami vice, back when the show was big of course

> do you believe in ghosts?

i'm not sure, i don't disbelieve in them. as if that's a word.

> do you like doing the zombie dance from michael jackson's thriller video?

YES!

> what is your favorite/favourite thing about halloween?

Scary movies.

> would you rather be pitied or feared?

Feared, definitely. (Why do you all think I spend so much time in the gym? LOL.)

> how many corn tamales do you think you could eat in one sitting?

Hmmm. 4?

> if you could change your name, would you? and if so what would you change it to?

I used to want to change my name, but I haven't given it much thought in a very long time. I think I'd want a soap opera name like "Sky" or "Sophie." Or Elizabeth. I always wanted to be able to be called Liz. But sadly, I think that stems from reading too many Sweet Vally High books as a child. Ugghggh. Somebody stop me.

> what is your favorite/favourite "pet name" or nickname to be called? who calls you that? where'd the name come from?

My birthname is Kelly but most people call me Kel. My hubby will often call me Kelbel because that was my screen name when we met. And Kelbel came from a friend in high school who just uttered it one day and was thrilled when I hated it. :P

> what is your favorite/favourite "pet name" or nickname that you call someone else? who do you call that? where'd the name come from?

My husband's name is Jon and I call him Jonny Jaybird because his grandmother said it once and I thought it was the most adorable thing.

> what are three things you'd like for christmas/hanukah/obnoxious-gift-giving-season?

CD's, shoes, jewelry

> what was the first album you ever bought?

Michael Jackson - Thriller

> what was the last one you bought?

Just bought the new Depeche Mode CD today. Can't remember the title though.

> what's your favorite/favourite scary movie?

The Shining.

> what is the sexiest thing you saw/heard/etc. today?

Hmmm. I don't know. That's a hard one.

> what's your favorite/favourite thing to do to waste time at work?

Umm, I can't. :) Clients tend to notice when you walk away from them during a session and make phone calls or read a book...

> if you had to be some kind of horror movie villain/monster, which one would you be and why?

Freddie Krueger. I already have the long nails and he was such a fun bastard.

> what are you superstitious about?

Knocking on wood.

> what's the best halloween costume you ever wore?

I was Princess when I was a kid. I had this beautiful dress and I couldn't wait to wear it. My mom fixed my hair in a way I didn't like so there are these pictures of me looking positively miserable in my princess dress. It's pretty funny.

> do you believe in ghosts?

Not sure? I feel like it's more accurate to say I believe in spirits. At times in my life I've felt the spirits of people who have passed near me. And I'm quite certain that my mom will make regular appearances once it's her time. :)

> do you like doing the zombie dance from michael jackson's thriller video?

Can't say that I've ever really done it. But I'd give it a whirl... Maybe we can organize a gymrats convention and end up shopping at the Gap only to break out into the zombie dance. I think that would work.

What do you think of the new DM CD? I've only listened all the way through once. I think the first 3/4 is pretty good and then it peters out a little towards the end. I may change my mind though after a few more listens.

I've only listened to it once myself (I just got it yesterday) but I do agree it peters out near the end. My first impression is that I like about every other track.. and the first song sounded like the stuff I like to listen to when I put on the gloves and hit the heavy bag in my basement. It got me psyched up!

> what is your favorite/favourite thing about halloween?

My husband's enthusiasm for it.

> would you rather be pitied or feared?

Neither really, but if I have to choose, I guess feared.

> how many corn tamales do you think you could eat in one sitting? i think i could eat 20
> on an empty stomach.

Hmmm.... dunno. I'm not sure I've ever had one, to know how big they are.

> if you could change your name, would you? and if so what would you change it to?

You mean my first name? I don't know... when I was in junior high I went through a phase of wanting to change it to all sorts of things (I remember Jade being on the list), but it's comfortable. It'd be nice to have a name that could be made into a better nickname than "Aim" though!

Funny, when I was 5 and being adopted I chose my name!

> what is your favorite/favourite "pet name" or nickname to be called? who calls you that?
> where'd the name come from?

My husband occasionally calls me Amadita. It was my Spanish name in high school Spanish class. I don't know if I like it or dislike it though; it just is. WHen I was in high school, there was a guy I was good friends with (one grade younger) - he always called me Amos. I don't know why, but I kinda liked it. And then there were a few years where a boyfriend called my Cliffy (I tend to spout inane facts on occasion, a little like CLiff on Cheers).

> what is your favorite/favourite "pet name" or nickname that you call someone else? who
> do you call that? where'd the name come from?

I don't really have nicknames for anyone.

> what are three things you'd like for christmas/hanukah/obnoxious-gift-giving-season?

can't think of anything at the moment!

> what was the first album you ever bought?

Billy Joel's Innocent Man, on cassette tape

> what was the last one you bought?

Great Big Sea, Rant & Roar

> what's your favorite/favourite scary movie?

Hmmm. I don't really watch them (my imagination goes where it needn't go!)

> what is the sexiest thing you saw/heard/etc. today?

I went to Marshall's to return something and a man with great calves walked by.

> what's your favorite/favourite thing to do to waste time at work?

Uh... not possible! The bakery is way to busy!

> if you had to be some kind of horror movie villain/monster, which one would you be and
> why?

I don't know. I could probably name some, but that's about it.

> what are you superstitious about?

not much.

> what's the best halloween costume you ever wore?

I thought my Sydney Bristow/Alias one, but no one knew who/what I was!

> do you believe in ghosts?

What does the Ouija board say? ;-)

> do you like doing the zombie dance from michael jackson's thriller video? i do.

To be honest, I couldn't pick that dance out. I was really not into 80s music in the 80s.

Hey, Syd!!! Do you have a pic in your Sydney Bristow costume??? I'll share mine if you like, even though it didn't really work out that well.
