This morning I have a doctor's appointment, and then I will go to the gym, do some elliptical and then lower body. I've always heard that people who want to build muscle should do cardio AFTER weights...I'll try that today.
This evening my ring should be ready for pick up!! yay!

How nice to be able to have the freedom to do what you want and like at the gym today, Jean. Sounds like you are "home again". I taught the body sclupting class today
Maybe it's just me but I've become really paranoid about jumping on the BOSU, since I seem to turn over on my ankles very easily. I'd be really careful about jumping rope on it.
I did chest, shoulders, and tris today plus HIIT on the stepmill. I can feel my myscles aching already! Anybody know how much the bar weighs on the Smith machine? I've heard anywhere from 15 to 40 lbs which is a pretty substantial range.
Had a client this morning and then have two more later on today.
Breakfast: scrambled egg w/cheese
Snack: protein shake
Not sure about the rest of the day... will have to update.
i'm curious, why aren't you supposed to say congratulations to the bride to be? (that is, other than because whether getting engaged to be married is actually a good thing is a matter for debate...)
oh wait, don't answer that. i thought about it a bit and i have a feeling the answer might make me vomit.
I haven't even tried the preset speed training... never even noticed it actually. :P Maybe I'll try that next week. I set it to "manual", do a 5 minute warm-up at level 3 and then for 15 minutes, I switch from level 3 to level 6 with each minute. I follow that with a 5 minute cool-down.
I really like the gym a lot. There's a lot of stuff packed into a small space and I wish it were organized a little better, but aside from that, I'm happily in the throes of my love affair with the leg press machine. I think I'm starting a love affair with my smith bench press too. I still haven't managed to get in there for a class yet, but I'm will one of these days. The weather has been nice so there's been more of an urge to do things outside. I was thinking of trying to get to step tomorrow but DH and I are going to hike and then I'm going mountain biking with a friend on Saturday.
