I'm headed to the gym shortly to work legs and do cardio. I had an early morning appointment today but she cancelled last night so the day is mine until 2 p.m. this afternoon. I'm seeing 3 clients today due to the holiday on Thursday. I'm meeting DH for dinner in between two of them.

Breakfast: scrambled eggs w/cheese

Snack: protein shake

Lunch: chicken burrito

Snack:?

Dinner: eating out with DH... not sure.

i'd tell my fil that if he's inviting all those people to my house, he better be bringing a car full of pizzas with him as well.

I'd love to do that but it keeps the peace in the family.

Do you charge if clients cancel last minute or don't show up? Not meaning the one who cancelled last night because it was a day in advance.

Yep, they have to agree to and sign a cancellation policy. My cancellation policy states 24 hours notice, but if they call the day before, I won't be a stickler about it.

Website is up and running. I got one new client from the advertising I did in that coupon magazine (and what she's bought in training has paid for the ad already). I'm a corporate sponsor for a small town run in December so all participants will get coupons for training in their goodie bags. I'm also going to run another ad in the coupon magazine for January. I'm still keeping my promise to re-evaluate where I'm at in January to see if I want to go to a gym part time but if I had to decide now, I'd probably stick to doing in-home entirely. I love going to a gym where I'm not employed and where people don't bother me to ask me questions. It truly is "me" time and that gets diminished greatly when you work there as well.

I was going to post this in a separate thread, but since I replied to you, I'll just include here... I set new personal records today! Last week, I lifted 320 on the leg press - today I did 340. Last week I did 230 on the hack squat, today it was 250. I'm very excited. :)

I think we're going to have to have a weight lifting contest.
