On Saturday night, bf and I went to an Irish pub because I was craving...FRENCH FRIES!! So I had a caesar salad and potstickers to start, then a steak with french fries, and finished off with chcolate peanut butter pie.
Yesterday was bf family's Christmas dinner, so I had the traditional (turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli, mashed yams, cranberry sauce) but bf's sister also made oatmeal cookies with gumdrops in them that were totaly addictive. Also chocolate coated peanut clusters. Then I had tea with sugar. No wonder my head hurt last night, having consumed all that sugar.
Today, I have very very exciting news that I have been keeping to myself:
WE GOT A HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today is the home inspection.
I normally don't teach piano on Mondays, I originally wasn't going to the inspection, but then someone asked me to sub and I took it so I could go. It's a long night. I teach from 3:15-9 with no breaks.
At the gym I am going to do a LOT of cardio to burn off all those calories.
Breakfast: chinese tea, clementines, grapes, toast with butter & marmite Lunch: ham & swiss sandwich, coffee "Dinner": smartfood, clementines, grapes
I have 4 clients today so it'll be pretty busy. I'm headed to the gym after my first client to do max-ot legs and cardio. This is week 2 of the program and it's incorporating lots of warm-up and acclimatization sets (which I haven't done before). Also decided to give up my safe hack squat for a "real" squat with an olympic bar. Woo-hoo. :)
Jean - I got really stressed last week over xmas stuff too. :( Just make a list of what you have to do and I think it becomes more manageable that way.
Breakfast: scrambled eggs and cheese
Snack: protein shake
Lunch: chile relleno casserole, salad
Snack: luna bar
Dinner: pesto chicken on ww pasta, salad, maybe a little irish cream :)
Good idea on writing it down. I should keep pen and paper by my bed because I have such crazy stress in the middle of the night and when I wake up, I can't figure out why it bothered me.
The inspector said the house is built like a bomb shelter. We found out that it was built in 1953, and that the sellers have lived there since at least the 1960's.
well...I have to say I LOVED the cedar closet in the house that we didn't get..this house is a little lacking in closet space. And most of the floors need serious work, the hardwood isn't shiny anymore and the upstairs is hideous linoleum covered by grungy carpet. Ewwww.
