I never cared for reality shows until I watched 'Beauty & the Geek' on the WB last winter when I was laid up with a broken foot. I don't know if they are going to do another one or not. I also like to watch 'Meerkat Manor' on the Animal Planet...but technically, I guess it's not really a reality show. Quinn likes to watch 'Fear Factor'.
We don't watch any. I don't have much use for reality shows. I think of them just stoop to the lowest common denominator, such as Survivor going by race this year. All that does is let people confirm their stereotypes. I dislike that. We've been following Canadian Idol lately but not watching it, just paying attention because we are down to the final two and the one girl is from our city. So of course we want her to win and she does have the voice for it. She's really that jazzy kind of smokey bar singer.
I guess if you count decorating shows as reality we watch that. We like How Not to Decorate and stuff like that on HGTV but that's about it.
I know what you mean! He watches it by himself. I go into my room & read or play around on the computer. However, it was on recently & he had no interest in watching it. Hopefully he's grown tired of it. (crossing my fingers)
I guess I am the lowest common denominator - lol. I will admit we watch survivor, and I think the race thing is merely to stir things up. I'm guessing they'll go against stereotype in the casting.
I also like dancing with the stars and of course we all watch american idol. This summer I watched so you think you can dance and me and dd really liked it. She's now taking a hip hop class because of that show.

I've watched fear factor once. I get the gag reflex when they eat bugs and stuff.
