I need to yell less and get less flustered
I'm not really sure. I guess sometimes I wish I was more strict and rigid. I tend to be pretty easy going and so far it hasn't been an issue but I wonder if later it might be. If she wants to do something and it is not dangerous or inappropriate I usually make the effort to allow her to do it. If she wants to visit Chicago, we go on a trip to Chicago. Now I want to visit Chicago as well so I don't see that as an issue. She also goes where I want to go like Cleveland. So I guess it could be a weakness as well as a strength. As I said, so far it seems to be working and I suppose if some day it doesn't, I'll have to change it.
I'm also trying to be more patient when I know the reason for her behaviour is tiredness or hunger. I just have to feed her and give her body time to absorb and get back to normal. I do get frustrated though and tend to get snappy when I should be just waiting until physiologically she is back to normal. Usually with 20 min. of eating she's a changed child.
I would like to add more of a sense of humor to my style of parenting. My patience is pretty thin most days so a good laugh would be helpful for EVERYONE involved.

I find that I tend to let things build and build and then I just explode.
