I agree with Dawnie this week was slow, also looking forward to payday. We have just been busy with the puppies and Phillip's birthday. He bugged the snot out of me to open his presents early. The next few weeks are going to be busy also. I don't think we have anything in particular planned this weekend I just need to work around the house. We are supposed to get some thunder storms tomorrow so that may put a kink in my finishing our dining room table. But I have a ton of other things that I can do so that "To do list" won't be
My week was ok:
The biggest grrrr thing was Quinn brought home a progress report that shows he's making an 'F' in language arts. (I asked the teach to call me. I haven't heard from her yet.)
On the brighter side, he's making an A+ in math & science. And an B in social studies.
One of the people that I deliver meals to every Wednesday was removed from the route a couple of weeks ago. I went to his apt. to see what was going on with him & it was empty. I don't know if he moved in with his children (they live in Va.) or if he passed away. I didn't see anything in the obituaries. He was a really nice, funny man & I'll miss seeing him every week.
Quinn had his guitar lesson on Wednesday. It went well. It's amazing how much he learns every week. He's at the point now that it's entertaining to listen to him pratice.
After his lesson, I took him & had his hair trimmed up. He was not happy. If looks could kill! He has a long skaters cut, but it needed to be shaped up. It looks better & he seems ok with it.
Weekends plans are:
Tonight we are going to supper with some friends. Probably go back to their house or come over to our house. The boys will play while we adults drink wine or coffee & talk. Maybe watch a movie.
Tomorrow we have to mow the yard. Generally we do it on Thursday, but the ground was still wet.
On Sunday, Quinn & I are doing volunteer work at the Greensboro Symphony's Annual Ice Cream Social fundraiser. We are working from 11:30am until 2:30pm. Then we will join the festivities. They will have all kinds of carnival rides & games. Music & ice cream (of course). The weather is suppose to be perfect. I'm looking forward to it.
My week ...
Monday, work and doctor appointment
Tuesday, work and doctor appointment for Ian
Wednesday: work and curriculum night at Kayleighs' school
Thursday: Work and Bradley class
Friday: No work.

Let's see:
Monday, pretty blah, not much to think of
Tuesday, got first ultrasound of the little peanut, kind of exciting.
Wednesday, pretty quiet
Thursday, DH had wisdom teeth out, was up late with Jordyn
Friday, so far so good
Weekend plans, SLEEP! Jordyn has practice tonight and tomorrow til 1:00, she said she may be spending the night at a friend's house from school, Sunday she has choreography for her floor routine for gymnastics at 12:00, that will cut into my football game, but hey, I'm loving this DVR thing! And then normal weekend chores, I have DH a list to get them started, hopefully I'll be a happy camper when I get home tonight and they are all done.
This week has been OK. I was sick with a cold last Sunday. DD got it as well and stayed home from school Monday. I have been having migraines the last two weeks and not sure what to do about it. They slow me down a LOT. I really don't want to go back on the medication I was on for two years, so instead I have done nothing. School is winding down. The kids have only one more week until our 3 week fall break. In addition we move to the new school (facility) immediatly on returning. So teachers are in packing mode, the library is almost empty, and everyone is getting excited about the new school.
This weekend on the other hand is going to be crazy. It starts with a school dance for DD tonight. Tomorrow DH leaves for Germany for 5 days, DD starts her theater arts class, and has a birthday party in the afternoon. On Sunday I bought tickets for the kids & I to see "Into the Woods" at a community theater. For us this is very busy and DS won't be happy since I have to bring him everywhere.
