Wow, am i tired

On Saturday i took 17 of girl guides and pathfinders to the hamilton tigercat/edmonton eskimo football game. We boarded the bus at 1:30, when we arrived we had to unload our luggage from the bus and set up our 8 tents. We then took the girls over to where they were selling the Guiding Roarrs cookie bowl 2006 t-shirts. Next we had dinner and then we set out for the game. All 336 girls got to march onto the field and watch themselves on the tigervision television. The game was over about 10:20. We stayed in the stadium, they gave us snacks and set up a movie for the girls to watch. We headed back to our tents about 12:45 and i fell asleep about 2:10. I don't think i slept all that well b/c they had the security lights on all night. At 7:30 this morning over the loudspeakers we heard "Good morning girls rise and shine it's time to get up for breakfast." I kind of laughed b/c this is how my mom used to wake us up every saturday morning.
After breakfast we took down the tents and we had about 15 different crafts the girls could do. Most girls did nearly all of them, they also got to try on the football equipment and practise football moves with the players and the cheerleaders showed taught them some of their moves as well.
It was a really thing for the girls to do but i am wiped. In February we are taking them to the science center for a sleepover. That should be really cool.
We are also going camping three times between January and May. ODD is a pathfinder and her unit is going to Ottawa for 5 days. They will be there for Canada Day. In 2008 they will be going to Switerland. That will require alot of fundraising!!

WOW Kelly, seems like you how a long but great day.
That sounds great, and I would also be exhausted.
We just had our first Girl Scout meeting this evening to plan out our year. We usually do two campouts/sleepovers per year. This evening the girls voted to do a New York city trip in the spring. They would be interested in your daughter's Switzerland plans.
