Hello,ladies..I've been Mia for quite awhile.I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but thought I'd pop in here&say why..My best friends son has been in the hospital for about 3 weeks..He went in to the ER for excessive throwing-up.She called me and told me about it&I met her over there..They admitted him after 3 hours of testing. He was dehydrated, had low potassium&was lifeless. He was so limp...2days later they STILL didn't know what was wrong. He was having trouble even keeping Pedialyt down..His white count was really low&was having seisures and having trouble breathing. They care flighted him to Children's Medical in Dallas on a Friday.I took off&stayed with her..During the night they had intabate him.We almost lost him that night.Come to find out,he had a collapsed lung!!He stayed in ICU for 2 weeks, moved to a regular room the following week&is now in our local hospital now, just to monitor him until he's strong enough to go home..We were totally scared!!I was going down there every other day,if not every day!!This on top of being a wife&mom..I also have been getting the girls Halloween costumes finished..Kacie's going to be a 50's girl, with a poodle skirt. She can also wear it at the end of the year when the school has a sock-hop.She loves it..I made it instead of buying one for 30 dollars, that was cheaply made..Jessi's going to be a Denison Yellowjacket cheerleader. It's a uniform that is an exact replica of the ones that the high school cheerleaders wear!!You'd thought that I'd given her a pony the way she screamed.lol..Well,that's what has been going on.I'll try to log on alot more now that Bryce is back in town!!Well,I'm gonna go get my license renewed.I just thought that I'd pop in&explain why I've been pulling a disappearing act..

WOW! I am so sorry to hear that about your friend's son. It is good that they were able to identify what the problem was and that is on his way back to being a healthy boy. It must have meant a lot to her to have you there, huh?
Good to see you back....
Thanks for checking in Dawn!
