Quinn received his Popular Science magazine a few days ago. He showed me the coolest element table that is inside it that is a Dow chemical ad. It's not a full size one (3 magazine pages long) but is really educational. Each element has a picture with it. They have barely (if any) studied the element table in school. His interest has been peaked by this ad/poster. Anyway...I thought that I would let everyone know about it in case anyones tween/teen has an interest in stuff like this.
BTW...If you ever want to get your child (or yourself) a subscription to Pop Science, check out some of the magazine sellers on Ebay. I got Quinn a 4 years sub to Pop Science for around $7. The magazine cost $4 each, so that was an awesome deal. I also got him a 1 year sub to Thrasher mag the other night for $6.50. Time only cost me something like $3 or $4 a year. Cooking Light was $6 for 2 years. They really do have some great deals...but be sure to read the feedback. The only down side is that it can take up to 3 months to get the 1st issue.

Hey excellent idea about using ebay for magazines - I hadn't thought to look there!
