We are going to a real party for the second year in a row! That is big for us. We usually sit around home--we're not big "partiers".

I will probably have Champagne in my hand, but will have been drinking soda most of the night.

Well that is our anniversary and we are going home to visit family and my MIL is keeping the kids so we will probably go out to dinner and maybe a go to the Boardwalk on the riverfront and watch the fireworks they put on.

Depending on where we are will depend on if we have champagne or not.

I would be just as happy staying home though.

What your plans for the New Year are? We don't have any. For us it's just another day on a calander and we don't celebrate it. It will just be another night as usual. Regular routine, regular bedtime.

We're going to dh's cousin's house for a New Year's celebration. I'm sure I'll have champagne in my hand for the toast but will probably drink a lot of wine before that.

We usually stay around the house on New Year's Eve. We have a great light show right in our own front yard (it's legal to shoot fireworks outside of the city limits and we are 2 blocks into the city limits, so fireworks all around). Last year was the first time we actually went out ON New Year's Eve, and it was an early dinner. We did that only because it was the only day a couple of friends could make it here..this year they'll be here 2 days early. Otherwise, we always stay home.

We'll have sparkling grape juice, as usual.

We're going to our timeshare with our best friends, 2 couples and there kids near the Olympic Peninsula. Should be a fun time. :)One of the couples is bringing a prime rib for dinner.
I'm not sure what I'll be drinking. I caught a cold yesterday and I'm not to happy about it. I really want to try a peppermint martini, my girlfriends like the lemon drops.

I am not a big fan of New Year's eve. Never have been. If the weather cooperates (i.e. not pouring rain, a snow storm or -40) we will head to our old city hall where our councillor always has a NYE bash. Usually there is skating on the fountain pond, sleigh rides, etc. but not sure this year. Its supposed to be -17 towards the end of the week for a low so maybe some skating. There is also face painting, music, magicians, etc. Then at 10:00 they have fireworks and we all go home. Then Kristen and I usually just watch TV until midnight (I'd go to bed but she'd kill me) then we head to bed after its all over. I'll not likely have anything in my hand, maybe a soda if anything.

The kids each invite a friend to spend the day and sleepover.

We will be having people (mostly family) over at our house. We always let the girls invite a couple of friend's over to join them.
I have no idea what I will have in my hand but, it will be some alcoholic beverage when midnight rolls around!

Wishing everyone a Safe New Year!
