At home when its just us she calls me Mommy. Now I "think" if her friends were around she'd call me Mom. Not sure though. Can't think of a time I've heard her address me around other people. She usually just speaks to me directly. She will say "I have to ask my Mom" which I think she probably then yells downstairs (because she's usually on the phone) and says "Mom can I ...." But its not something we've ever discussed. When she was really little she used to call me Mama with sort of this upper crust British accent. LOL No idea where that came from.
I've been mom for many years but when Mackenzie was 3-4 she was really into the Disney movies and someone in one of them always said MOTHER. She picked that up and wow did I get funny looks in the store when this wee child would refer to me as mother!
I am Mom to my DDs (12 & 10) and Mommy to my DD (5). I would love to be called Mother! We used to call my Mom "Mother Dearest", it would crack her up. My oldest has resorted to calling me Tammy when "I am not listening". It really gets my attention!
Connor (13) still occasionally calls me "Mommy" and his dad "Daddy". Though it's rare now. I think he was about 8 when he decided that Mom and Dad sounded more "grown up".
