The release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is quickly approaching, and with it will come the end of a series that has meant a lot to our children. For the last seven years, Hogwarts has been finest school of witchcraft and wizardry in the world; a place where Quidditch is the sport to play, chocolate frogs are the snack of choice, and owls are a child’s best friend. Its students have studied under Dumbledore, the finest headmaster Hogwarts has ever seen, and taken specialized classes where they experienced first-hand the strength of their spells against their greatest fears – dragons and dementors.

Tell us why you would or would not choose to send your kid to Hogwarts!

My daughter will be on the waiting list. I believe she has great potential. I know she will make a great student and learn so much from going there.

If I thought she had the ability I would send her. I think is only fair to offer your kids the chance to "be all that they can be" and sometimes that might requires special schooling that's not available locally or I couldn't provide. I think she's brave and bold and makes friends easily so I think she'd love it there. It would break my heart to not see her except at Christmas, Easter and holidays though. LOL Wimpy mom.

No! Too many bad things go on, kids are forever getting hurt or worse. (By the way how come they can re-grow bones and not fix Harry's eyesight?) We are also practicing Lutherans and they don't go to church there, so no, my kids would not go. There are other things that are more important. We love Harry Potter and will have 3 copies of the new book, we all want to see what happens.

Hey coolio. They quoted me on page 5. LOL A quote that makes me look like a wimpy mom. :-) It kind of seems like I said not, but I said yes, even though I'd miss her. Quoted my2kidzmom as well. We're famous. LOL
