The school told us that there were very few spots open. I recd the letter from her principal today. I got her report card last week. She got 4 A's and 2 B's. We are very proud. Remember me telling you guys about her science grade? At the beg. of the year she was making an F. She managed to pull off a C for the semester. This semester she got an A in Science. I knew she was capable. Oh, and the science teacher retired. :)

Yeah Hannah. Hopefully she learned a lesson with that science fiasco.

Kristen did very well under the circumstances, but I know with a different teacher she would have done better. She got two C+'s in gym and measurement (which we can't figure out what that meant since she got an A in it first term). Otherwise all A's and B's. So I am content.

Wow on the science grade...how awesome!

Way to go on getting into 8th grade honors!

Aly had 8 As and 1 B (in math--speed on times facts got her). This was the first year they had NINE grades (reading, English, math, social studies, science, art, PE, spelling, & Spanish--art & PE were combined before and no Spanish). I expect the same this coming year.

My daughter did pretty well this year. In the last trimester she received all A's and B's. Her lowest grade this year was a C+ in math during the second trimester.

Congratulations! That's so awesome for her! Mackenzie makes all A's but this school doesn't have an Honor's track, they just 'group' the kids by their level so she's in a higher grouping. She DID test into Advanced Algebra for 8th grade but I think that's the only 'official' advanced class for 8th graders they offer. She's already looking forward to next year...is HANNAH chomping at the bit too?
