i think you should do exercises that work multiple muscles and multiple parts of the muscles. definitely push ups and assisted pull ups as first priority.
beyond that, i like multiplane exercises with a medicine ball or smaller weighted ball like a bosu fitness ball -- stuff like this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Ymt0aNzZfnQ
