Good morning~

I have my first cup of coffee here.. thinking about how I should get off the computer and start all these errands. I have to make Kristen's birthday cake, run to the bank and pick up a few things at Walmart.. then do my volunteer thing at church, get her lunch to eat lunch with her at school.. come home and babysit a 3 yr old boy for a while then fix her birthday dinner.

I also hurt my back.. it's probably muscle but it's down low by my tailbone. To whine even further.. I have this congestion that won't go away and I am on my second antibiotic. boohoo for me

My friend who works at Starbucks just gave us a Christmas present that included several bags of Starbucks coffee, so I am on my 3rd cup of the day...

Mitchell (12-yo) is home sick today-- fever, cough, congestion, getting worse every day for a few days now --- starting to wonder if it isn't the true blue influenza bug. It's definitely worse than a cold.

This seems to happen every year-- one of the kids gets sick during the last few days before Christmas break, and I get in a panic because all of their presents are not yet wrapped and there is still last minute shopping to do, etc. Every year. When will I learn???

Morning Everyone!

I am sitting here in bed freezing! It is cold here in Cali. I am about to make myself a cup of coffee the first of probably 2 more cups LOL.

The house is very quiet since my kids are with their Dad and have been since this past weekend they don't come home until Christmas Eve. I still have my step son though who is at school right now.

Today, I need to finish the rest of my Christmas shopping. I am so sick of shopping and now I know people are on crunch time so I need to make my moves but I am too cold to get out of bed and get dressed.

I also want to catch up what has been going on in the boards.

Good Morning all! I'm here taking a break from cleaning for a few minutes. I had to so I didn't scream (but that's another post - and it will be :) ). This afternoon is errand time. After school Megan has a piano lesson (which reminds me, I need to wrap the teacher's gift) and the kids have haircuts. Tonight we're making chocolate lollipops for the kids's teachers to attach to their gifts or give to the aides, gym, art, etc. teachers. I always feel like the specials teachers (gym, art, music, computer, etc.) get the short end of the stick. They work with EVERY kid and work just as hard, but don't get the gifts and recognition that the "homeroom"/academic teachers do.

Happy day everyone!
