Along the lines of what we were talking about below w/ weight gain and all, I'm wondering if any woman thinks they look ideal.

I think I look pretty good overall but of course there are body parts that I certainly wouldn't mind being less flabby.

I think it's fine to strive for better but I think for many women it means they're dissatisfied with where they are.

i like telling people my age because in some ways i feel like i'm mentally much more my age than the age i look. for instance, people usually think i look like i'm in my late 20s so if i'm condescending to them (and say things like "25 is too young to get married") they think i'm just being a bitch instead of a condescending 37 year old.


but to answer the original question i've never thought i looked ideal even when i was what i'd now consider ideal. now i just don't care most of the time. i wouldn't be happy if i were FAT fat, but i think my body is very much the typical healthy-weight normal woman's body. as long as i wear flattering clothes i don't stress much

I try not tell people how old I am either because I think it forces a stereotype one way or the other. Either they think I'm really old and can't possible relate to them or they think I look so young and it becomes all about what I look like. So, I've gotten to that point where I avoid it if I can. If people ask me how old I am, I always reply, "take a guess".

It's more fun than just telling them outright.

The hard thing with the face is that I know I look older but can't pinpoint why. I've spent the past few years looking and comparing.
