What do you all think? I'm on the pill to avoid having a period every three weeks and being a crazy person but I'd hate to think it's interfering.

Well, if they used a randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled study with standard statistics, it doesn't look good for those taking the pill and wanting to build muscle.

Honestly, even on the pill, you're so strong and muscular so any changes being off the pill might make wouldn't be worth it even if the study were right. As BC goes, nothing beats it (though, IIRC that's an issue for you and your husband, right? You two took care of that a few years ago?).

Yep, hubby is snipped so pregnancy isn't an issue. However, I did go off the pill a few years and I turned into a mess. I think it helps stabilize my mood, plus, without it, I have a period every 2 weeks.

It probably wouldn't make much of a difference in my body but I'm always looking for reasons why I'm not skinny. :D

I preach the same things to my clients... especially when they are frustrated by a lack of weight loss but are clearly getting stronger. I *try* to preach the same to myself but think that lecturing yourself is mostly a lost cause. :P I am diligent with exercise, but food... not so much. I try. :)
